Bacon Breakfast Sandwich
The perfect breakfast sandwich!
This is not a complicated recipe, but a few little tips will make this sandwich amazing!
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 4 strips bacon, cooked (i like to bake bacon and then keep it in the fridge)
- 2 slices of bread (i used italian)
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- shredded cheese
- S&P
Instructions:
- Whisk the egg and pour into a hot, greased pan
- Let the egg cook on that side. Try to keep the egg flat and flip it over. This will give you a flat piece of egg that will nicely fit on a sandwich.
- When cooked through, put the egg on to a plate, S&P
- In the same pan, on low heat, start building your sandwich
- Add a piece of buttered bread, cheese, bacon, egg, then more cheese (this will help the sandwich stick together)
- Flip once the cheese is melted on that side
- Cook until all the cheese is melted
- Cut and serve!
